- Yes, Lomac pumps are fully approved nationwide
- Do Lomac pumps require venting?
- No, The pumps are self cleaning in normal operation and do not smell.
- Can I use Lomac pumps with an 'S" trap toilet pan?
- No, A 'P' trap pan must be used with all Lomac pumps.
- Can I remotely install Lomac 'Bathroom' or 'Toilet' pump models?
- Yes, however the unit must be within 300mm from the end of the w/c pan spiggot.
- Can I electrically connect this pump to a conventional GPO?
- No, Lomac pumps should be 'direct wired' in accordance with the installation instruction.
- How long is the Warranty on the Lomac pumping Systems?
- Lomac pumping systems carry a two year factory warranty against parts or product defect only. The warranty will not cover failure caused by either incorrect installation and / or usage
- How do I achieve fall from my shower into Lomac pumps?.
- A full 'gravity' 1:40 fall is needed from all 'grey water' fixtures into the Lomac pumps. From the floor to the centre of the inlet is 40mm, which usually requires your shower base to be raised off the floor by way of framing.

- How often do Lomac pumps require servicing?
- Providing the pumps are installed and used correctly, the pumps do not require servicing.
- What type of Products are unsuitable for Lomac pumps?
- Lomac pumps are designed to dispose of normal human 'organic' waste, water and toilet paper. They will not handle sanitary ware, nor should they be used to dispose of corrosive cleansers and / or chemicals. Domestic grade cleansers will not harm the pump. Generally, avoid anything with a petrochemical or citrus base.
- Am I required to fit a non-return valve in the discharge line?
- No, Every Lomac pump comes complete with an inbuilt non-return valve. We do however ask the installer to install a ball or gate valve as close as practical to the pump in the discharge line.
- What type of pipe is used for the discharge pump line?
- PVC pressure pipe or type 'b' AS1432 grade copper should be used.
- Can I use the Lomac pumps in a "Commercial" environment?
- Care should be taken when installed in a Commercial environment. It is difficult to police how the Lomac is being treated when the unit is being used by more people daily than would otherwise happen in a "Domestic" environment. Under no circumstances should the units be used in conjunction with "Commercial" grade dishwashers and / or glass washers.
